This particular model has numerous variations. It can be found in silver, gold and a very brassy gold. The roof can be smooth grey or red, ribbed grey or ribbed red. 

It has always been considered that the plated version of the ribbed grey roof had 2 small lugs cast at the rear. This was because this particular roof is a rare version on the painted model which did not have the lugs cast in and if with the lugs, has been to be presumed a fake with the roof being swapped from the plated model. However in pics. 4 & 5, I have two versions, one with lugs and one without. So I presume this to be an ongoing casting modification for ease of the roof location which may have been carried through on the painted model or vice versa. The model without the lugs does have a rather peculiar purple-brown set of seats instead of the more normal dark red. It also came as part of the 'Heritage' and 'Vintage' sets in the brassy gold color. In pic. 8 is the base with 1912 on and pic. 9 has the next base with no 1912 on and note the addition of the steering wheel locating bracket cast in. Finally in pic 10 is the ribbed red roof version without the roof lugs.
