Y12 - 1 1899 London Horse Drawn Bus
Issued 1959- Scale 1:100
A long lasting and popular model. The body never changed from it's standard red colour all the time. The horse drawbar however did and first issues had a single rivet thin bar connection to the body. This was enlarged to an oblong plate with 2 rivets for more strength (2). The horses started as a light brown but changed to a darker brown halfway through the run (3). The upper seats were painted in a tan colour and some had the underside painted as well. A short run at the end had the seats in an almost cream colour and are very scarce. There are 2 versions to the lower side transfer with relation to the 'O' or 'M' letter above the '&' |
