| Last of the
original 3 released. The model originally had 'thin' cowcatchers but this
area was strengthened by adding a block behind creating 'thick'
cowcatchers. The first wheels were solid grenodised metal but changed to
black later on and the baseplate that held them started as grey and
eventually became black as well, grey versions are rare. The small area
just above the 'Buy Lesney Toys' decal was originally open but flashing
caused this area to partly fill in and eventually it was filled in
completely. Above this there is the top deck access hole and over
time this was filled in instead of being open.
Last runs of the model can have the cowcatcher painted white instead of the normal grey and the small dot lights front and rear can be gold or silver. The early roofs are cream and eventually changed to white. . |
