1920 3 Ton Leyland Lorry
Issued 1985
A very controversial model
when it came out due to the way it was sold. The model was in a nice shiny
box with gold foil lettering and was cast from 'soft tooling' The
moulds were never hardened so once used they were useless again and this
was part of the deal that it would only ever be issued once in limited
quantities. How many was limited was hard to figure out as the codes used
did not run sequentially.
Some first issues had the word 'Malden' mistakenly printed as 'Maldon' and these are very scarce to find. There are two types of mudguard on the front with one version extending down past the door step whilst the other is level almost. |
